What are the characteristics or symptoms of this disability?
A person with a speech disorder has difficulties forming words, and it might be hard to say S's and Z's or other letters.
They also have problems with stuttering when they talk, and if they can't hear sounds they might not say words the right way.
How or why does this disability happen? What are the causes?
Tongue twist is one of the causes of a lisp. Some people push their tongue against their front teeth while they swallow and this is another cause for a lisp.
What is the treatment for this disability? Is there a cure?**
One of the treatments of this disablitiy is looking in the mirror to imitate the way another person said something.
You can also listen to sounds as a treatment because it will help by hearing the right way so you say it the right way.
You can also play games to help speech disorder, and go to speech classes and clubs to help your speech disorder.
Lisping is also one of the easiest speech disorders to help.

re the characteristics or symptoms of this disability?
Having this disability does not change a person's normal behavior. Sometimes it causes you to shake though. If you see someone with this disorder it may look like they are looking into space. A seizure only affects the brain, but that causes the whole body to shut down afterwards. A seizure occurs when tiny shockwaves pass through your brain. It is a little like when you drag your socks across the carpet and get a tingly feeling, that's what happens in somebody's head during a seizure.
How or why does this disability happen? What are the causes?
This disability is sometimes genetic or inherited.
What is the treatment for this disability? Is there a cure?
Medicines control the seizures, but they do not stop them from happening.
How long are the seizures?
Jason here, there are many different types of seizures, some last a couple seconds others last a couple minutes hope that helps!
You did a great, great, great job on this passage $Jarrett$
A little more in the 2 and 3 paragraph and it would be great!!!!!!!!
KYLA it is fine [pat]
Jason here, sorry we didn't get enough information, we'll try better next time!
It's good like Kyla said little more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EDUARDO LARA HI
If somebody deep in families backround (EX: Great Grand Father) had a Seizure Disorder, could you still get it?
And, how many different Siezure Dissorders are there? *LOL KEVIN LOL*
Hey it's Jason, like we said before, it isn't genetic so probably not, but it still is possible though.
Can you tell if someone has this disability when they don't have seizures or when their body shuts down? -Ryan
Hey it's Jason, when they're not having a seizure they'll look like everybody else, but when they're body is shut down they're on the floor motionless. So you'd probably notice.HI
Yea i would.-Brenna:)

What are the characteristics or symptoms of Dyslexia? It may not change the person's appearance, but it will effect the dyslexic man or woman's learning ability, because the brain does not work right and they don't read right. What are the causes? How or why does Dyslexia happen? Dyslexia is genetic and/or it can occur at birth. Dyslexia is not contagious, and is not the result of an illness or accident. What is the treatment for Dyslexia? Is there a cure? No, there is not a cure or treatment for Dyslexia, because the cause is happening in your brain and doctors, specialists, etc., can not change what is going on in your brain. If you are a student in school you are allowed to have extra time and help to do work, to finish tests, etc., but you will not have a perfectly normal life. Can this disease start later on in your life?

What are the characteristics or symptoms of this disabilty?
Kids with Down Syndrome (D.S.) are short and have stubby fingers. Kids with D.S. don't learn that quickly and can't learn math or handwriting. Usually kids with Down Syndrome go to special schools and they start school early because they don't learn quickly. Some kids with D.S. can't speak clearly. Some kids who were born with D.S. might have to get surgery if there is a hole in their heart.
How or why does this disability happen? What are the causes?
Kids with D.S don't have a cure for their symptoms. Usually kids are born with Down Syndrome. D.S. is not contagious. Not everybody in the family has D.S. if someone else has it.
What is the treatment for this disability? Is there a cure?
There is no treatment or cure for this disability. Down Syndrome lasts for the rest of your life. If you have D.S. you don't have to take any medication. Some kids with D.S. go to speech therapy to help them speak clearly. The speech therapist helps kids exercise their tongue because they can't control the muscles in their tongue.

Q: What are the characteristics or symptoms of this disability?
A: Having CP makes doing everyday things more difficult. A person's legs and mind are effected: the leg muscles become very weak; sometimes, people with CP mix up their words. The brain is injured so that also causes them to have uncontrollable seizures.
Q: How or why does this disability happen? What are the causes?
A: It is not genetic; it can occur at birth or sometimes from a severe accident. It is not contagious.
Q: What is the treatment for the disability? Is there a cure?
A: One way that a person with CP can live a normal life is by getting respect from others. Other things that help a person with CP live a normal life are swimming and riding the bus. There is no actual treatment or cure. Physical therapy is a great way to help someone who has CP because they learn new ways to work with their body. Also another thing that can help someone with CP is called headgear. Headgear helps a person with CP by protecting their head in case they have a seizure because the can fall on their head. A seizure can make someone shake out of control. They could seriously injure themselves by falling down or falling out of their wheelchair. Some people with CP may also need leg braces.
Could any other body parts be affected, like the head?
FROM KEVIN!!! :)
Is it contagous? $Jarrett$

Q: What are the characteristics or symptoms of Autism?
A: People with Autism may have problems with being extra-sensitive; for example their ears might be buzzing, clothes may feel scratchy, and their minds sometimes think of too many things at one time, so parts of their brain may get them confused or they might copy or echo others' behaviors or repeat movements.
Q: How or why does this disability happen? What are the causes?
A: No one knows for sure why you get Autism. You can not catch this disability, but you may be born with it. It is not caused by accidents, or illnesses and it is not contagious.
Q: What is the treatment for this disability? Is there a cure?
A: A helper and certain medicines can help people with Autism live a normal life. No equipment is needed for this disability. Teachers, friends, and family help kids with Autism overcome their disability by reminding them when to take medicine and help with school work. When it is quiet they can focus better on their work.
